Paths That Are Straight

     Every person has their own responsibilities that have to be done. Whether it be paying the bills, grades, work, or all of those three combined, they all require our hard work and attention. There is nothing wrong with that! What is  wrong with that on the other hand is how much of ourselves we give to doing these things. How about this, lets just take a moment to examine ourselves:    - How much time do you spend alone with God?    - How much time do you spend taking care of your responsibilities?        Now that you've thought about such things, do you have a clear answer? I know I sure do, and its not pretty. I find myself spending more time doing what I have to do in order to reap what is on this earth more than I spend time doing what I should do in order to reap a harvest in the Kingdom. I AM 100% ON DUTY When an European Airline was initially launched, an educated Christian gentleman was travelling in the first class section .An air hostess approached him with a complimentary drink, this was an alcoholic drink so that man politely refused. The air hostess returned but this time bought the drink on a platter, designed to appeal and impress however Christian man again politely refused, explaining he doesn’t drink alcohol. The air hostess was concerned and informed the manager. The manager approached the man with another platter, now designed with flowers; he questioned “is there something wrong with our service? Please enjoy the drink, it is complimentary offer”. The man replied “I am a Christian and I do not drink alcohol “The manager still insisted that man take the drink. Sometimes my plan fail, but God always gives me better options.

     There are many times in my life when things went in a completely opposite way than I had thought or planned.  I am an impatient person, so I like things to be done my way and in my own time. I've found that in each and every one of those situations, God had a completely different plan.  Many times, we plan out things with our own knowledge, and then we blame God when things start going wrong.  We try to teach God by telling him how things should work out. We become upset, and frustrated at God. We then begin to fear and wonder why things didn't work the way we planned and prayed. Maybe it’s our sins?  Or did God even hear our prayer? We often say we trust in Him, but if we trust God the way we say we do, we must trust that God knows what is best for us in every situation.  If we put our trust in Him He will direct us in the way that is best for us, even if we don’t think that it’s the best for us in that moment.  Often, we are too stubborn to listen to Him or follow H
