We Are Alive Together With Christ(Ephesians 2) When we read Ephesians 2:1-10, we see how Paul differentiates between a life before coming to faith and a life after coming to faith. He reminds us that after coming to faith in Christ, we are raised up and seated on the throne of Christ. So Much Spiritual Blessing - Ephesians 1 (PART ONE)
What does it mean to be "Blessed'? The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines the term 'blessed' as 'having a sacred nature: connected with God '. When Paul says in verse 3 in Ephesians 1 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ", it means that God has already given us everything we need to be connected with Him. In achieving these blessings the holy spirit allows them to make us holy, having a sacred nature. Verse 4 in Ephesians explains that God chose US , you and me, before the world began to be holy and blameless . Ephesians 1:5-6 (ESV) "He predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will, to the praise of His glorious grace, which which he has blessed us in the Beloved."
