I AM 100% ON DUTY
When an European Airline was initially launched, an educated Christian gentleman was travelling in the first class section .An air hostess approached him with a complimentary drink, this was an alcoholic drink so that man politely refused.
The air hostess returned but this time bought the drink on a platter, designed to appeal and impress however Christian man again politely refused, explaining he doesn’t drink alcohol.
The air hostess was concerned and informed the manager. The manager approached the man with another platter, now designed with flowers; he questioned “is there something wrong with our service? Please enjoy the drink, it is complimentary offer”. The man replied “I am a Christian and I do not drink alcohol “The manager still insisted that man take the drink.
Then, the Christian propose that the manager should give the drink to the pilot first. The manger stated “how can the pilot drink alcohol, he is on duty!?And if he drinks there are all chances for the plane to crash”
The passenger with tears in his eye replied, “I am a Christian and I am ALWAYS ON DUTY in order to protect my FAITH and if I Drink Alcohol I will crash whole life here and hereafter. I AM 100% on duty.
Living the Christian life has never been easy. It always gives us challenges that will make us to be better prepared for the coming of Jesus Christ.
The Christian life requires us to never give up and go forward with good determination. The successful way to a Christian life requires dedication, responsibility and faith. As we seen in the story he had a great responsibility to keep his faith till the end, by abstaining himself from drinking alcohol.
Mathew 7:13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Bible never teach us that it is easy to lead a Christian life. If we take examples from bible and outside the world, we see that whoever became a success they have to go through hardships and difficulties in their life. If we have to succeed in our walk with Christ, we must work hard and give our time, which requires a lot of dedication. Dedication means total commitment. If we are the followers of Christ it is important to devote our self to ways shown to us through the life of Jesus.
We have a great responsibility to follow Christ. Responsibility means to do a task that you are required to do or expected to do. We have the responsibility to take care of our self and to get away from all wicked things of this world.
Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about we do not see”. When we were younger we hope to get good grades. When we graduate from college we hope to get good job. There are many things that we cannot see yet we believe. We don’t know what our future holds, but we believe that our future will be good. It is important to be faithful and patient in our Christian life.
There are times when we are faced with a lot of trials and temptations. We feel we are forsaken and forgotten by everyone. However, remember the greatest trials turns out to be an occasion of the greatest deliverance and victory from God. God has better plans for each of us. Let us face all our trials and temptations and take victory over all evil plans against us in Christ. Are you guys ready to take the challenges that come in our lives every day and overcome all by dedicating ourselves, taking responsibility for our actions, and protecting our Christian faith? In our Christian life, let us prepare to be on 100% duty with a prayerful attitude.

Do you pray about it, as much as you talk about it?   I saw this sign the other day on the internet and it got me thinking… It’s actually crazy how we can talk about some of our issues, struggles or dislikes for hours. Sometimes my plan fail, but God always gives me better options.

     There are many times in my life when things went in a completely opposite way than I had thought or planned.  I am an impatient person, so I like things to be done my way and in my own time. I've found that in each and every one of those situations, God had a completely different plan.  Many times, we plan out things with our own knowledge, and then we blame God when things start going wrong.  We try to teach God by telling him how things should work out. We become upset, and frustrated at God. We then begin to fear and wonder why things didn't work the way we planned and prayed. Maybe it’s our sins?  Or did God even hear our prayer? We often say we trust in Him, but if we trust God the way we say we do, we must trust that God knows what is best for us in every situation.  If we put our trust in Him He will direct us in the way that is best for us, even if we don’t think that it’s the best for us in that moment.  Often, we are too stubborn to listen to Him or follow H

Psalm 116: 1-7 (NIV) I love the  Lord ,  for he heard my voice;    he heard my cry  for mercy.   Because he turned his ear  to me,      I will call on him as long as I live.
